Frequently Asked Questions

Most volunteer positions don't require special qualifications. We value enthusiasm, commitment, and a passion for empowering girls. Specific roles like workshop facilitators may benefit from relevant experience or expertise, but training is provided for all volunteers.

Time commitments vary depending on the role. Event volunteers might help for a single day, while mentors commit to at least 6 months with 4-8 hours per month. We offer flexible opportunities to accommodate different schedules.

Yes! We offer remote volunteering opportunities such as content creation, virtual mentoring, and administrative support. These roles allow you to contribute from anywhere with internet access.

For most volunteer roles, you must be at least 18 years old. For mentors, the minimum age is 21. We occasionally have opportunities for younger volunteers (16+) for specific events or projects, with parental consent required.

All mentors receive comprehensive training before being matched with a mentee. Once matched, you'll have access to ongoing support, resources, regular check-ins with program staff, and opportunities to connect with other mentors.

Partnership contributions directly support our programs and operational costs. Funds help provide educational materials, scholarships, workshop supplies, event costs, transportation assistance, and other resources needed to serve our girls effectively.
